Salvation = Becoming Saved = Redeemed by GOD for HIS kingdom of eternally perfect life.

Seek the Truth with all your heart.

GOD’s and Jesus’ Salvation will take you up.

Satan will take you down.

Saved = being saved from eternal death.

Redeemed = GOD sending Jesus to do what was necessary to pay-off the human death penalty = to purchase = to save us - HIS creation - from Satan’s curse of eternal death for every human.

Are you happy for this life to be all you will ever have, OR would you like, or hopefully passionately desire, to be resurrected in a new body to live eternally in GOD’s kingdom of blissful perfection, and enjoy an unlimited life?

There are only two options - choices - available to humanity:

1.  The narrow road leading to eternal life of amazing privileges and dimensions.  Home will be GOD’s Kingdom of blissful perfection, and all who are in it will have the ability to travel anywhere in the universe at the speed of thought.  Magnificence beyond our present imagination.

2.  The broad road leads to destruction, which is not one that anyone should want to be on; unless they do not want to be in GOD’s eternal kingdom.

Matthew 7:13-14  Jesus said: “Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction (eternal death,) and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.’

It is impossible to earn your way into heaven.  Jesus Christ is the only way.  He is the key and basis of and for Salvation.

Pray to be spiritually born = born again - filled with the Holy Spirit, and saved into GOD’s eternal kingdom and eternal life.

As I have said elsewhere, only perfection can enter heaven, and it is impossible for any human to be perfect, irrespective of how many ‘good’ things you have done, and how good you may think you are. The only way is for GOD to see you through Jesus – if you have made Jesus the Lord of our life.

Romans 10:9-13  ‘If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”  For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.”

1 Corinthians 15:2  ‘By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the Word I preached to you.  Otherwise, you have believed in vain.’

#  For Salvation we need to be in relationship with GOD.  Salvation - entry on the narrow road - consists of the extraordinary benefits received by each person who believes the Gospel and entrusts their life to Christ.  This includes privileged benefits of forgiveness of sin, correct standing with GOD, having the Spirit of Jesus Christ and GOD, joy, contentment, the power of the Holy Spirit to change habits and ways of life, and to help you have assurance of resurrection into heaven and eternal life.

#  The second and only other option is the broad road leading to hell’s destruction and eternal non-existence, along which, very sadly, the great majority travel.

Matthew 7:21  "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of my FATHER WHO is in heaven.”

People who do not want to hear about and talk about Jesus and GOD, and the core truth of Christianity; but might think they will be alright – OK – acceptable in GOD’s eyes; will suffer the ultimate shock and horror when Jesus returns to resurrect and take GOD’s people home to heaven.  It will then be too late for them, they have been refusing relationship with GOD, so the decision has been made.  It will be an extremely sad and tragic time for all those left behind; unless they are quite sure that they do not want eternal life in new bodies and to live in absolutely perfect, magnificent conditions as members of GOD’s Family.

The word salvation refers to deliverance from all kinds of evil, both temporary and eternal. It refers to spiritual preservation, pardon, restoration, healing, freedom, wholeness in spirit, soul and body, and deliverance from the fear of death and danger, and saved into GOD’s eternal kingdom.

The meaning of salvation is to be saved, through Jesus, from our inherited condition of sin. There is not any other way except by accepting Jesus as Lord of our life, and living in absolute faith in His having redeemed us by His sacrificial death, defeating death, regaining life, and by all of this, opening the door to eternal life in GOD’s (our FATHER’s) eternal Kingdom, all for us, because HE wanted to give us the opportunity to return to HIS family of eternal existence.

It is now for each person to believe and accept Jesus’ sacrifice of suffering, dying for you, to pay for your sins, defeating death, and regaining life.  Accept Him as Saviour and Lord of your life, and ask to be filled with GOD’s Holy Spirit.

When GOD created humanity HE gave us true life in which death did not exist.  Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the one thing GOD told them to avoid, allowed death to enter the creation, and broke down every aspect of perfection of GOD’s total creation.  So perfect life immediately became a temporary existence, which is why Jesus had to eventually be born into humanity and go through what He did, which was the only way of opening the door for every individual to choose to regain perfect life. GOD has already offered the invitation, the choice of acceptance, or not, is in the hands of each person on Earth.

To achieve this, GOD had to birth HIMSELF as Jesus, to be born into humanity as a human with HIMSELF as the father through the Holy Spirit, and a young Jewish woman as a human mother. (A mystery we have to accept by faith.)  This was to enable HIM to be equal to humanity as one of us, to pay our unavoidable death penalty which hangs over all of humanity.  But HE alone was capable of overcoming death and returning to life, on our behalf.  It was as though HE was in the court room with all of sin-guilty humanity unavoidably facing the death penalty; so HE underwent the death penalty on behalf of all humanity, and as only HE could replace death with life; HE opened the door for all who choose HIM as the Lord of their life, to inherit eternal life in HIS timeless, perfect kingdom.  So the gift is available for each person who accepts, with love and thanks, GOD’s conditional invitation.

Eternal Life begins when you are ‘Born Again,’ but the reality begins when Jesus returns to resurrect every true child of GOD, into new their new, perfect, eternal body.

Regularly search and try (analyze) your ways, and you might find that you need to repent  (turn in the opposite direction)  and turn again to GOD with increased vigor and passion; or maybe turn to GOD for the first time.

GOD’s love is unconditional, but that does not mean His approval is unconditional; entry into heaven and eternal life is conditional.  We exclude ourselves by conscious willful sinning:  betrayal, selfishness, greed, pride, dishonesty, lust, resentment, un-forgiveness, sexual sin, and any other rebellious sinful behavior; or by just ignoring or rejecting HIM.

If we believe the word of GOD and obey His instructions with love and a hunger for truth; our prophesied future is awesomely magnificent.  The truth is, if you don’t know GOD, it doesn’t matter how much wealth and possessions and elevated position in life you have, you have no inheritance of GOD, and after the second resurrection, your future is zero.

Salvation is not something you are born into. It is not passed into your genes or by birth-right.  It is something that you have to make a conscious decision and choice to accept.  GOD does not make the decision for you; He has already gone to enormous lengths through Jesus to open the door for you, but you must exercise your own initiative and desire in choosing to accept GOD’s invitation to enter through that door.  You have freedom of choice, you are not a robot whose decisions are made for you.

Those who do not follow Jesus will be forever non existent.  There is no second chance, the only chance is here and now, why delay, there is no guarantee of tomorrow.

It is impossible to earn your way into heaven.  Jesus Christ is the only key and basis of and for Salvation.  There is no other way.  Just being a regular church-goer will not get you there; many are doing that as a weekly ritual.

It requires meaningful relationship with Jesus and GOD.

It is a gift to be received; you can never be good enough by your own efforts to qualify for heaven.   That is why Jesus came to pay our debts for us, and open the way for us to make Him the Lord of our life in true relationship enabling us to enter heaven.

GOD needs to see us through Jesus, otherwise HE can only see us as being irreconcilably lost, irrespective of who we are, our position, occupation, or what we might own in this world; factors which, to GOD, are completely irrelevant.  HE sees every human being as equal.

The only qualification is believing in your heart that Jesus died and rose again on behalf of humanity, and that through His sacrifice and shedding His blood for us, we are saved for eternal life. We must also believe that He is the Son of GOD; and have a true, loving relationship with Him and our Father which becomes the essence of our belief system, thinking, speaking, behavior, and life.

When you are born again, your old nature no longer has the control over you as it did before your salvation through faith.  You can then instead, as said in 1 Peter 2:24, live for righteousness through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, because Jesus bore the full penalty for your sins, in His body on the cross.  The ‘stripes’ (flogging) and all the other punishments that Jesus endured do not wound or harm those who put their faith in Him, but instead heals them by making them acceptable to GOD through their faith; giving them eternal life.

Salvation means being saved; for all those who have given their hearts to GOD, made Jesus Lord of their lives, and have chosen to be true, obedient children of GOD, and members of His family.

There are two groups of people; those of the ‘church’ and those of the ‘world.’   The people of GOD must purify their souls through obedience to the truth, and be prepared to stand without fault before Jesus at his coming.  They must not bow to the very strong pressure of humanly designed demands, and questionable suggestions.  They might appear to be ‘GOD-ly,’ but in fact could draw you into serious compromise and worse, they could be deceptive manipulation by a religious organization.  Be discerning and wise.

Only by accepting Jesus’ blood, shed on the cross for the remission of sins, can we stand before GOD covered in the righteousness of Christ: This is what Jesus meant by His dying words on the cross: “It is finished.”   He had defeated Satan and opened the way for believing followers to enter GOD’s eternal kingdom.

Jesus is the only way for resurrection into heaven – GOD’s kingdom – and eternal life of blissful perfection.

To those who are opposing Christianity.

People who have become enemies and haters of Christians, irrespective of whether they be individuals or part of a group or organization who are opposed to Christianity and all that it stands for; still have the opportunity to repent, ask for forgiveness and become a member of GOD’s family, and look forward to eternal life of indescribable magnificence.

Paul had a past of extremely violent persecution and murder of Christians.  When he was walking along the road to Damascus, Jesus reached out and thoroughly transformed him, without him even asking; and he became one of the greatest supporters of Christianity, as an apostle and missionary.  Acts 9:1-22  Tells the story of Paul’s conversion.  Twenty eight percent of the New Testament consists of Paul’s writings.

Based on the present Earth and ways of life here, it is futile to try to fully evaluate the values and qualities of heaven, and the following new heavens and new Earth, it will be magnificent beyond our present framework of knowledge and imagination.

It is still possible, before Jesus comes to take GOD’s children home to heaven, to turn to relationship with HIM, and away from wrong ways of life and living.  There is no benefit or gain whatsoever in trying to make GOD and HIS standards and principles irrelevant; and instead to live your life, your way.  Doing so just guarantees your outcome of eternal non-existence = no more life ever again.  GOD is offering (not forcing) infinitely more than your present temporary compromised life.  Please realize the immense cost and permanent outcome that anyone’s opposition attracts to them.  Do not allow temporary selfish indulgence, and intolerance, blind you to the magnificent alternative option.

In this temporary life you still have your own freedom of choice; why try to deny others of theirs, and drag them into your GOD-denying state of thinking?  Christianity does not deny non-Christians of freedom of choice, so they should not think they have a right to deny Christians of theirs.  Christianity does not try to force their choices into others’ way of life, so others should not try to force their ways into Christian’s lives.

Psalm 13:5-6  ‘But I trust in YOUR unfailing love; my heart rejoices in YOUR salvation.  I will sing the LORD’s praise, for HE has been good to me.’

Psalm 145:18-19  ‘The LORD is near to all who call on HIM, to all who call on HIM in truth.  HE fulfills the desires of those who fear HIM; HE hears their cry and saves them.’

Isaiah 12:2  “Surely GOD is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.  The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my defence; HE has become my salvation.”

Isaiah 25:9  ‘In that day they will say, “Surely this is our GOD; we trusted in HIM, and HE saved us.  This is the LORD, we trusted in HIM; let us rejoice and be glad in HIS salvation.’

Isaiah 43:1b  GOD said:  “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.”

Isaiah 55:6-9  ‘Seek the LORD while HE may be found; call on HIM while HE is near.  Let the wicked forsake their ways and the evil person their thoughts.  Let them turn to the LORD, and HE will have mercy on them, and to our GOD, for HE will freely pardon. “for My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways and MY thoughts than your thoughts.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon ME and come and pray to ME, and I will listen to you.  You will seek ME and find ME when you seek ME with all you heart.”

Joel 2:28-32  ‘And afterward, I will pour out MY Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out MY Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the Earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.  And everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls.’  (Great for some - dreadful for others.)

Matthew 6:15  ‘If you do not forgive others their sins, your FATHER cannot and will not forgive your sins.’

Matthew 7:7-8  “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; whoever seeks finds; and to whoever knocks, the door will be opened.”

Matthew 7:13-14  Jesus said: “Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction (eternal death,) and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.’

The ‘narrow gate’ is for those who have made Jesus The Lord of their life, and through Him, a close relationship with GOD.  One is then eligible for resurrection to eternal life of unimaginable magnificence in every conceivable way.

‘Few’ does not preclude anyone from being one of the few.

Matthew 16:26  “For what profit is it to a person if they gain the whole world, and lose their own soul.?

Matthew 25:23  ‘His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share your master’s happiness.”    We all long to eventually hear these words from GOD.

Mark 16:15-16  Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

John 1:12.   3:36.   5:24.  To whoever believes in and loves Jesus - GOD gives eternal life.

John 3:5-7  ‘Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of GOD unless they are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at My saying, ’You must be born again.”

John 3:16-18  ‘For GOD so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For GOD did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him.  Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of GOD’s one and only Son.’                                                                        GOD the FATHER gave HIS Son to save the world.

John 3:35-36  ‘The FATHER loves the Son and has placed everything in His hands.  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for GOD’s wrath remains on them.’

John 15:18-20  Jesus said: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.”

John 16:33  ‘Jesus said: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.”

John 19:30  ‘When He had received the drink, Jesus said “It is finished.”  With that, He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit.’ With this He finished His work of salvation.

It is possible to be sure of your salvation.

Acts 2:21  ‘And everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.’

Acts 4:11-12  ‘He (Jesus) is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.  Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by whom we must be saved.”

‘The stone’ was the ‘foundation corner stone,’ which people rejected, and which has now become the ‘top-most stone.’  The strongest part of the building – the supreme position – this represents Jesus.

Romans 1:16  ‘I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of GOD for the salvation of everyone who believes, first for the Jew, then for the Gentiles (the non-Jews.)

Romans 3:23  ‘For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.’

Sinners are ‘spiritually dead’.   When they receive ‘spiritual life’ through faith in Christ, the Bible likens it to a rebirth. Only those who are ‘born again,’ have their spiritual eyes open, their sins forgiven, and have a relationship with GOD.

Romans 6:8-15 & 18  ‘Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.  For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again, death no longer has mastery over Him.  The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives in GOD.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to GOD in Christ Jesus.  Therefore do not let sin reign ion your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.  Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to GOD as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to HIM as an instrument of righteousness.  For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

What then.?  Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace.?  By no means.!

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves (= commited) to righteousness.’

Romans 8:16-19  ‘The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are GOD’s children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of GOD and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.  I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.  The creation waits in eager expectation for the children of GOD to be revealed.’

Prayer to be spiritually born and saved into GOD’s kingdom and eternal life.

Romans 10:9-13  ‘If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  As scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”  For there is no difference between people; the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 13:11-14  “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.  The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.  So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.  Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.  Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”

1 Corinthians 15:2  ‘By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the Word I preached to you.  Otherwise, you have believed in vain.’

2 Corinthians 1:21-22  ‘It is GOD who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.  HE anointed us, set HIS seal of ownership on us, and put HIS Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.’

2 Corinthians 5:21  ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.  All this is from GOD, WHO reconciled us to HIMSELF through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that GOD was reconciling the world to HIMSEKLF in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.  And HE has committed to us the message of reconciliation.  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though GOD were making HIS appeal through us.  We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to GOD.  GOD made Him (Jesus) who had no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of GOD.’

2 Corinthians 6:1-2  ‘As GOD’S fellow workers we urge you not to receive GOD’S grace in vain.  For HE says, “In the time of MY favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”  I tell you, now is the time of GOD’S favour, now is the day of salvation.’

Galatians 2:20-21  ‘I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body; I live by faith in the Son of GOD, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  I do not set aside the grace of GOD, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing.’

No one can be acceptable to GOD through obeying the law; GOD can only accept us if Jesus is the Lord of our lives.

Ephesians 1:3-14  ‘Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For HE chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in HIS sight.  In love HE predestined us for adoption to son-ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with HIS pleasure and will; to the praise of HIS glorious grace, which HE has freely given us in the One HE loves.  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of GOD’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, that HE made known to us the mystery of HIS will according to HIS good pleasure, which HE purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment, to bring unity to all things in heaven and on Earth under Christ.

In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of HIM Who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of HIS will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of HIS glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.  Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are GOD’s possession, to the praise of HIS glory.’

Why does one need to be born again?

Ephesians 2:1-10  ‘As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts.  Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath, but because of HIS great love for us, GOD, Who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions; it is by grace you have been saved.  And GOD raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages HE might show the  incomparable riches of HIS grace, expressed in HIS kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith; and this not of yourselves, it is a gift of GOD; not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are GOD’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.’

Ephesians 4:30  ‘And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of GOD, with WHOM you were sealed for the day of redemption.’

Colossians 1:12-13  ‘Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.  For HE has received us from the kingdom of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son HE loves.’

Colossians 2:6-7  ‘So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.’

2 Timothy 2:10-13  ‘Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him.  If we disown Him, He will also disown us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot disown Himself.’

Titus 3:4-7    ‘When the kindness and love of GOD our savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.  He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.’

Hebrews 2:3  ‘How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.’

Hebrews 12:14  ‘Make every effort to live in peace with all people and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.’

1 Peter 1:1-3  ‘Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ.  In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that we can never perish, spoil or fade; kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by GOD’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.’

1 Peter 1:18-21  ‘For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without  blemish or defect.  He (Jesus) was chosen (by GOD) before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.  Through Him you believe in GOD, WHO raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in GOD.’

2 Peter 1:5-7 & 10-11  ‘For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, GOD-liness; and to GOD-liness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.’

‘Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election.  For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.’                                                                                                                         Your calling and election = salvation = saved.

2 Peter 2:20-22  ‘If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.  It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.’

Revelation 1:5  ‘Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His GOD and FATHER; to Him be glory and power for ever and ever.  Amen.’

Christ, by His Own Blood has washed us clean from our sins.

Revelation 11:1b-2a  “Go and measure the temple of GOD and the altar, and count the worshipers there.  But exclude the outer court, do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.”  This reference to The Temple can be taken as being representative of the importance of making sure that you are ‘in the inner court,’ because this represents real relationship with GOD; not in the outer court where the Gentiles are, who are those not in relationship.

A prayer for salvation --- to be saved into GOD’s eternal kingdom:

I offer these suggestions for you to prayerfully speak to Jesus from your heart, and be saved.

“Lord Jesus, I thank You that You died to pay the penalty for my sinfulness.  I believe that after three whole days You rose to life again. Please forgive me and cleanse me with Your precious Blood. I repent of my sins and renounce every spirit that is not of You.  I believe You are the Son of GOD.  I receive You into my life now as my personal Lord and Saviour.  I thank You that I am born again as a child of GOD.  Help me in my walk with You and lead me according to Your will, in Your Name.  Amen.”

OR

“Dear Jesus, I believe and thank you that YOU died on the cross to pay for my sinfulness; and after three days You rose again to claim the victory of eternal life for all who love You.  Thank You for shedding Your blood to cleanse me from my sinful condition.  Jesus I truly ask You to be my Saviour and Lord of my life.  Please fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me to walk in Your ways, and turn away from worldly ways.”

OR

‘Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on my behalf and that Your sacrifice paid for my sins, and connected me with GOD.  Please forgive my sinfulness and help me to follow You as my Lord and Saviour.  Thank You for Your gift of eternal life.  I entrust my life to You from now on.  Please lead and guide me in all Your ways.  Amen.’

OR

(Well known evangelist, Billy Graham, near the end of his life, wanted every seeking person to pray the following prayer.)

“Dear Heavenly FATHER, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for YOUR forgiveness.  I believe YOU died for my sins and rose from the dead.  I turn from my sins, I repent of my sins, I invite YOU to come into my heart and life.  I want to trust and follow YOU, as my LORD and Saviour in Jesus Name.  Amen.”

Repent of all unbelief and your sinful past.                                                                                                                               Have faith and belief that Jesus died for you, and rose to life for you.                                                                              Give your heart to GOD and genuinely ask Jesus to be Lord of your life.

GOD loves everyone, just like parents who always love their children, irrespective of their behaviour and what happens to them including the consequences, legal or otherwise, of their choices, and deeds; and how painful the outcome is for themselves, their parents, and for GOD.

Can you lose your Salvation?

Yes you can, but it is up to you.  Refer to the following scriptures:

Ezekiel 33:12 & 18-19  ‘Son of man, give your people this message:  The righteous behaviour of righteous people will not save them IF they turn to sin, nor will the wicked behaviour of wicked people destroy them IF they repent and turn from their sins (sinful ways, sinful living.)’

‘For again I say, when righteous people turn away from their righteous behaviour and turn to evil, they will die.  But if wicked people turn from their wickedness and do what is just and right, they will live.’

2 Thessalonians 2:10b-12  ‘They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  For this reason GOD sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.’

This scripture points out that people must love GOD and HIS truth, including relationship with Jesus, to be saved in the first place.

Hebrews 6:4-6  ‘It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the Word of GOD and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of GOD all over again and subjecting Him to public disgrace.’
