Bethlehem is the birthplace of King David and Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach is Jesus the Messiah in Hebrew. Yeshua is Jesus real name in Hebrew which means ‘Salvation’. GOD as Jesus, was and is: The Messiah, our Redeemer, our Saviour.
In normal human terms of understanding we cannot fully reconcile and comprehend that Jesus was and is GOD; that is another reason why we need BELIEF and FAITH.
The realization, which is not easy at first, that Jesus was and is GOD, creates a beautifully clear picture of the magnificent, uncomplicated, and delightful reality, of the truth of GOD, and HIS way of doing things.
Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible GOD. He existed before anything was created, and is supreme over all the creation which now exists. Through Him GOD created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we cannot see, such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through and by Him and for Him. He existed before everything else, and He holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is His body of people who love Him and GOD. GOD reconciled everything to Himself through Jesus. GOD in all His fullness, lived in Christ.
Jesus was GOD in human form, so He possessed a combination of humanity and divinity. He therefore possessed the power to overcome and to resist every sinful temptation. Jesus gives that power to every human being who, by faith, identifies with and adopts His righteous character.
