Prosperous and​​ very wealthy men in the Bible​​ were: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph,​​ and Solomon -​​ all​​ children of Israel.​​ ​​ Solomon​​ was the wealthiest person ever in history.

 

The words - increase, treasure, prosperity, substance, wealth, and riches,​​ refer not only to money but also to​​ different​​ aspects of life​​ and well-being. ​​ Whole of life​​ =​​ wholistic.​​ ​​ 

 

Proverbs 3:9-10 ​​ ​​​​ Honour the LORD with your substance, and with the first-fruits of all your increase. So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.

 

Proverbs 8:17-18 & 21​​  ​​ I love them that love Me; and those that seek me early shall find Me. Riches and honour are with Me; yes, durable riches and righteousness --- That I may cause those that love Me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

 

Proverbs 13:22 ​​​​ A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

 

Proverbs 15:6 ​​ ​​​​ In the house of the righteous is much treasure.
