Hell

There is a good explanation of Hell in:  helltruth.com

Seek the Truth with all your heart.

GOD does not send anyone into hell.  People send themselves there by rejecting Jesus and GOD, and also by not being obedient to the conditions which GOD has already laid down as essential for all who wish to be enabled (to be qualified, to be eligible) to enter eternal life, following the resurrection to come.

Hell is not a lasting place, it is the place of a process of immediate eternal death in the lake of fire of burning sulphur, just as Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by burning sulphur which GOD rained down upon those twin cities which had become cities of gross immorality.   GOD uses burning sulphur because it causes almost immediate asphyxiation which minimises suffering to virtually zero.

Revelation 20:14-15  ‘Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.  The lake of fire is the second death.  If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, they would be thrown into the lake of fire.’

Hell was created for Satan and his fallen angels, not originally for humanity; but Satan is drawing people to himself and taking as many people as he possibly can with him to hell-fire destruction.  He wants to deny GOD of as many heavenly children as he can.

Do not allow Satan to deceive you.

All who keep Jesus Christ and GOD out of their lives here on earth cannot be accepted for inclusion and companionship with Christ and GOD in heaven.

This is the very reason that Jesus (GOD in human form) came to earth, to die for us, rise from the dead and re-open, through Himself, the gateway to heaven and eternal life.

Heaven can only contain perfection, and GOD can only see us as being perfect if HE sees us through Jesus; and this can only be so if Jesus is Lord of our life; we in Him and He in us.

As the result of the disobedience and fall from GOD’s grace in the Garden of Eden, by Adam and Eve:

Hell is now the default setting of this world and there is no avoiding it, except by true relationship with GOD through Jesus, and the associated obedience.  It does not have to be difficult, it only takes a change of heart.

If you have the desire to know GOD, you are facing in the right direction for change to occur.

2 Peter 2:4-9  ‘For if GOD did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgement; if HE did not spare the ancient world when HE brought the flood on its un-GOD-ly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if HE condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is goi0ng to happen to the un-GOD-ly; and if HE rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless - for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard - if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the GOD-ly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgement.’

Jude 1:7  ‘In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion.  They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.’ (= hell = eternal death.)

As I have said elsewhere, the automatic (default) setting on this world is hell and death.

All of humanity is destined to die, so only GOD, through Jesus, could die on our behalf, paying our unavoidable penalty.  Following this, Jesus then defeated death; and now through relationship with Him and making Him Lord of your life, you become an inheritor of eternal life and the most amazing privileges, which in human reality are unimaginably magnificent.  There are many scriptures pertaining to this; some obvious, many are not, unless the Holy Spirit gives the reader illumination and understanding.
