Seek the Truth with all your heart.

GOD said  “They are MY people, and I created them to bring ME glory.”

Living life for GOD’s glory is the greatest achievement we can accomplish with our life.

Living a purpose filled life GOD-ly life is giving glory to GOD.

The Holy Bible (KJV) uses the word “glory” 402 times.

“What is GOD’S Glory?” The answer is by no means complete, since mankind cannot fully or satisfactorily define this awesome attribute of GOD.

GOD’S Glory is a weighty, intrinsic substance of divine recognition, unmatched in any other way.  It is a divine light that illuminates GOD the CREATOR of the entire universe, revealing HIS infinite love, indescribable beauty, goodness, and holiness; unmatched by anything human.

It encompasses the wholeness of our One GOD of power, wisdom, faithfulness, mercy, and incomprehensible love; of infinite forgiveness and reconciliation.  It is an inseparable part of HIS divine being.

“Holy, Holy, Holy is the GOD Almighty, all honour and glory is yours alone, all glory is yours, O Lord.”

Glory is the weighty, intrinsic substance of GOD’S presence in Jesus Christ.

Believers are eventually called home to experience the fullness of GOD’S glory in HIS entire splendour,  where Heaven does not require a sun; GOD’S glory is it’s light.

Psalm 19:1-4  ‘The heavens declare the glory of GOD, the skies proclaim the work of HIS hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech, night after night they reveal knowledge.  They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.  Yet their voice goes out into all the Earth, their words to the ends of the world.’

Proverbs 20:29  ‘The glory of young men is their strength, grey hair the splendour of the old.’

Isaiah 60:2  ‘Seen darkness covers the Earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and HIS glory appears over you.’

At the start of Jesus life, just after He was born:

Luke 2:9 & 13-14  ‘An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising GOD saying, “Glory to GOD in the highest, and on earth peace to people on whom HIS favour rests.”

John 11:40  ‘Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of GOD.”

Near the end of Jesus’ time on earth, in His favourite retreat, the Garden of Gethsemane, on the Mount (hill) of Olives, shortly before He was arrested  for a mock trial and crucifixion, He cried out:

John 12:27-28  “Now My heart is troubled, and what shall I say? FATHER, save Me from this hour. No it was for this very reason I came to this hour. FATHER, glorify YOUR NAME.”  Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

Let GOD’s divine order control your life, and you will be more effective, productive, and powerful, to the glory of GOD.

2 Corinthians 4:2-6  ‘Rather we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of GOD.  On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we command ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of GOD.  And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.  The ‘god’ (Satan) of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, Who is the image of GOD.  For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.  For GOD WHO said, “Let light shine out of darkness, made HIS light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of GOD’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18  ‘Therefore we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.’

Philippians 4:20  ‘To our GOD and FATHER be glory for ever and ever.  Amen.’

Colossians 1:27  ‘To them (the LORD’s people) GOD has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.’
