Seek the Truth with all your heart.
Truth is the fuel of right living. Many people consider truth as being relative, which makes it open to any variation. GOD’s truth is absolute, not relative. Absolute truth is permanent and unchangeable; it stands forever. It is irrevocable, non-negotiable, immovable, inflexible, and uncompromising. Only absolute truth is truth.
People try to change the ‘Truth’ and even have the Bible declared as being inaccurate, irrelevant, or even a book of hate. However this does not change TRUTH. GOD’s Truth is absolute and unchangeable, it is inflexible, it stands eternally as it is, and is never any different, it is immovable, inflexible, and uncompromising.
We need to reject apathetic, and synthetic spirituality and traditions of indifferent and unbiblical theologies.
Protestant denominations should never deviate from presenting the imperative ideals of Scripture: faith, grace, Christ, and the glory of GOD.
John 8:31-32 ‘To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said: “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 14:6 ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through me.”
John 16:13a ‘But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth.’
Jesus, speaking to His FATHER - GOD, about the people who were now His believers and followers, said:
John 17:15-17 “My prayer is not that YOU take them out of the world but that YOU protect them from the evil one. They are not of this world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; YOUR word is truth.”
John 18:37-38 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king, in fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to Me.”
Psalm 119:142 ‘YOUR righteousness is everlasting and YOUR law is true.’
Isaiah 8:13-15 & 20 “The LORD Almighty is the ONE you are to regard as holy, HE is the ONE you are to fear, HE is the ONE you are to dread. HE will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah HE will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem HE will be a snare. Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.”
Consult GOD’s instruction and the testimony of warning, if anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn (= truth.)’
This is because of people ignoring that GOD stands for truth, and they are not recognizing this, and therefore not acknowledging GOD as being truth, and living accordingly.
Jesus is the Truth.
Isaiah 40:8 ‘The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our GOD stands forever.’
Matthew 11:25-27 ‘Jesus said, “I praise YOU, Father, LORD of heaven and earth, because YOU have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, FATHER, for this was YOUR good pleasure. All things have been committed to Me by My FATHER. No one knows the Son except the FATHER, and no one knows the FATHER except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal HIM.”
This is highlighting the fact GOD will pull a veil over the eyes of many people who consider themselves to be intellectually or otherwise superior, and that they have no use for GOD or HIS truth. They explain away the things of GOD as being irrelevant, especially to their own lives. They reject GOD’s truth - which HE will reveal to those who are open and seeking like little children.
GOD hides His truth from the powerful and scholarly of this world who are not humble enough to listen to and accept what HE says and respond and obey like obedient and responsive children. They can hear it and read it all, but their hearts are not open to it, they are left with confusion, and even after being so close to such incredible truth, they remain self-deceived. GOD only reveals His truth to those who approach HIM with an open childlike attitude.
When we truly know and embrace the truth, we then realize very clearly that we are living a temporary existence on Earth, and are just passing through this world on our way to perfect eternal life in GOD’s perfect eternal kingdom, our eternal home.
Matthew 24:35 ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.’
Acts 4:11-12 ‘He (Jesus) is “The stone the builders rejected. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by whom we must be saved.”
Romans 1:18 ‘The wrath of GOD is being revealed from heaven against all the ‘GOD-lessness’ and wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.’
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 ‘Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.’
Ephesians 4:15 & 21-24 ‘Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every aspect the mature body of Him Who is the head, that is, Christ.’
‘When you heard about Christ and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like GOD in true righteousness and holiness.’
Deuteronomy 6:6-8 ‘These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.’
Proverbs 4:20-24 ‘My child, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a person’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.’
Proverbs 6:20-23 ‘My child, keep your father’s commands and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. Bind them upon your heart forever; fasten them around your neck. When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life.’
Proverbs 14:25 ‘A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.’
Proverbs 23:23 ‘Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.’
Zechariah 8:16-17 “These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgement in your courts; do not plot evil against your neighbour, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the LORD.’
Colossians 2:8 ‘See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.’
The Bible teaches the very purpose of human life and the magnificent opportunity we have available to us through Jesus Christ, to qualify for eternal life and to be in heaven for 1000 years before returning to the new earth, where we will dwell in unimaginable perfection, with the ability to travel anywhere in the universe at the speed of thought.
The only alternative is eternal destruction in hell – the lake of fire. The default - automatic - setting on this earth is hell, that is why GOD went to so much trouble and pain to create and carry out - through Jesus - a rescue plan to enable all who choose to do so - to return to relationship with HIM through Jesus.
GOD created the rescue but does not force anyone to accept it. He invites, we are free to accept or reject.
GOD, through Jesus, invites us to choose life; meaning eternal life. Life which ends in death cannot be life; it is only a temporary existence. GOD invites us to true LIFE.
1 Timothy 2:1-6 ‘I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for everyone; for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases GOD our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one GOD, and one mediator between GOD and people, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all people; the testimony given in its proper time.’
1 John 4:1-6 ‘Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but teat the spirits to see whether they are from GOD, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of GOD: Every spirit that acknowledges that Christ has come in the flesh is from GOD, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus, is not from GOD. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is alreadsy in the world.’
3 John 1:4 ‘I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.’ 3 John has been moved to here, from just before Deuteronomy 6.
Please be warned:
Revelation 18:4 GOD commands people to come out of - withdraw from - the religio – political system; which we now see re-forming and regaining its previous vicious, manipulating influence of old. Revelation 17 The system itself will not change, that is why the LORD says to come out of ‘her’. This requires awareness, open eyes and a knowledge of its history over the last 1700 years. GOD loves everyone but he specifically warns us of this religio-political system, and if we do not know history we will not be able to see and understand what is happening. Not only does this history repeat itself, this time when it re-forms itself into a position of virtually dictatorial authority and influence, it will be more vicious than ever before in the history of humanity.
