Three Angels’ Messages
Seek the Truth with all your heart.
Revelation 14:6-12 tells of three important messages to the world. John’s vision here is not symbolic of three literal angels who will come and proclaim these messages to the world; it refers to what will apply to, and be required of, GOD’s people — His ambassadors — people who are true Christians - who are to uphold and proclaim these truths.
The Three Angels’ Messages are the final messages of warning to the world. These messages ensure that everyone has had a chance to choose between the Kingdom of GOD and the kingdom of Earth = Satan's kingdom. When the messages have reached everyone, the time of probation will close, just as did the time of entering the Ark just before the world wide flood of Noah’s time.
Noah’s Ark consisted of a three story boat. In these last days this three story message is designed to prepare us for the end.
Christ will return to resurrect and instantly change His people. These - His - people are also called GOD’s children who are the truly devoted Christians – Believers – Followers - those who know who they are, who are sure of their relationship with GOD, and therefore their standing with HIM; unlike lukewarm nominal religious Christians.
The great war between Christ and Satan reaches its climax as these messages are preached, and the people of the world will be split into two groups: the followers of Christ and the followers of Satan. The contest will be fierce, and there will be a time of the worst conditions, trouble, and cruelty, to ever happen in the history of humanity.
In GOD’s eyes people are in only one of two categories; either they are with HIM or with Satan. People may say that if they choose to not follow GOD, or reject HIM altogether, or deny that HE even exists, that does not mean they follow Satan. However by default they do, because there are only two categories, and by not following GOD, they have rejected HIM, and are therefore automatically categorised as followers of Satan. That is the way GOD sees it. It is actually Satan’s undercurrent of evil influence in this world, in many different ways, that keeps people away from GOD.
Daniel 12:1-3 ‘At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people – everyone whose name is found written in the book – will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the Earth will awake; some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.’
Jesus also quoted from:
Malachi 3:1 & 4:5 “See, I will send my messenger who will prepare the way before Me.” “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.”
Matthew 17:10-13 ‘The disciples asked Him (Jesus,) “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that He was talking to them about John the Baptist.’
These scriptures do not mean that John the Baptist and Elijah will be reincarnated as humanity sees reincarnation.
Matthew 24:24 ‘For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible.’
Revelation tells of a Beast power, which we see to be Roman Catholicism, which Satan uses to counterfeit the ministry of Christ. Satan even sets up a false trinity to lead the world astray. Read Revelation chapters 17 & 18 realizing that it is directly about the Roman Catholic Church. GOD knew thousands of years ago how it would be. The Roman Catholic Church is called Babylon.
Throughout the book of Revelation, the two great camps are contrasted. Satan tries his best to counterfeit the plan of salvation, in order to deceive GOD’s chosen people.
Only the true Prince of this world, Jesus Christ, can save us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Revelation 1:4-8 ‘John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him Who is, and Who was, and is to come, and from the seven spirits before HIS throne, and from Jesus Christ Who is the faithful witness, the first born (begotten,) from the dead, and the ruler (prince) of the kings of the Earth.
To Him who loves us, and has freed (washed) us from our sins by His own blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His GOD and FATHER – to Him be the glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
Look, He is coming with the clouds (of angels,) and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him” and all peoples on Earth “will mourn because of Him.” So shall it be. Amen.
I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the LORD GOD, “WHO is, and WHO was, and WHO is to come, the ALMIGHTY.’
1. The First Angel's Message.
The First Angel's Message calls us to worship our Creator GOD and recognize the hour of judgement.
Revelation 14:6-7 ‘Then I saw another angel flying in mid-air, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth; to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear GOD and give HIM glory, because the hour of HIS judgment has come. Worship HIM WHO made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
2. The Second Angel's Message.
The Second Angel tells us the fate of Babylon.
Revelation 14:8 ‘A second angel followed and said, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries (= the wine of the wrath of her fornications.)”
Babylon the Great refers to the Catholic Church – The Vatican, and great will be its destruction.
3. The Third Angel's Message.
The Third Angel's Message calls us to keep the commandments of GOD and reject the mark of the Beast.
Revelation 14:9-13 ‘A third angel followed them and said with a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they too will drink of the wine of GOD’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of HIS wrath (indignation.) They will be tormented with fire and brimstone (burning sulphur) in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of GOD who keep HIS commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them.”
The prophecies of Revelation chapters 10 and 14, when read together, have potent messages for the Church in the end time.
Revelation 12:17 ‘Then the dragon was enraged at the woman (church people) and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring - those who keep GOD’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.’
This tells us that the remnant would ‘keep GOD’s commandments, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.’
