My Wholeheartedness for GOD

Seek the Truth with all your heart.
At my school: St. Peter’s College, I used to think ‘Who would want to be a church minister, what an unproductive occupation to have,’ I would far rather be involved in something more meaningful and productive.
Now many years later, after intense searching, as recorded in ‘My Testimony,’ I am fully convinced that knowing and sharing the gospel and being a witness for Jesus and GOD, is by far the most important and meaningful involvement I could possibly have - helping people to know the crucial importance of a committed relationship with Jesus and GOD.
GOD’s love through Jesus opened the door for all of humanity, enabling those who love HIM and Jesus, to inherit eternal life.
When the religious fog and wrong impressions I had, dissolved - the Truth of GOD became so beautifully clear - like the most wonderful treasure that had been hidden from view.
Psalm 40:8 ‘I desire to do YOUR will my GOD; YOUR law is within my heart.
Isaiah 55:6 ‘Seek the Lord while HE may be found; call on HIM while HE is near.’
I want every person to comprehend that the most important decision by far that they can make in this life, is about their relationship with GOD.
I am passionate for people’s hearts, minds, and eyes to be opened wide to the knowledge that there is an amazing eternal dimension available to them beyond this temporary life.
There is no other decision that can even compare to it. It decides the quality of your spiritual life in this world and whether you will be existing in eternal perfection; firstly in heaven and then on the new Earth. All those who miss out are destined for eternal non- existence, which to me is an indescribably and desperately sad and futile outcome.
To people who say “It does not matter, it is irrelevant, there is no GOD,” I refer them to: Psalm 14:1 The fool says in his heart “There is no God.” There has to be a GOD; see ‘Evolution.’ Others say “I have plenty of time to make such a decision,” not realizing their life could end at any time, and then it is too late, so RIGHT NOW is the time to make a decision. If there is NO GOD (a ridiculous hypothesis), no one is worse off. However if there IS a GOD, then those who have rejected HIM, have condemned themselves to eventual eternal non-existence. Those who believe in and LOVE GOD and have a true relationship with Him, are destined for an eternal life of complete perfection in every way, in GOD’s eternal Kingdom.
Acts 20:24 ‘However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of GOD’s grace.’
This is an expression of commitment, priorities, and values; which does not necessarily exclude other aspects of a full and worthwhile life.
1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 ‘Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.’
In the senior school of St. Peter’s College, the headmaster (school principle) Mr. Colin S. Gordon sent instructions to my English master – teacher - to send me to his study; a large richly furnished room with rich timber, fully stocked library shelves; where I remained for the duration of the class, as he analysed an essay I had written. We had been given the first half of a sentence as the beginning of an essay which we were to continue writing using our own imagination. Mr. Gordon said that mine showed outstanding merit and great creativity, and that it indicated that I should consider becoming a writer, an author, which he strongly recommended.
My mother said to me, several times, that I should write a book; because of the very varied and interesting things I have done, and places I have travelled to. I wanted the book to be of worthwhile value – containing things from which readers could benefit in a meaningful way. So maybe this website is that book, in which I have also included some of my own story. In the subject ‘My Testimony’ I have included highlights of my interesting, varied, and adventurous life of searching for meaning.
My initial, original reason and inspiration for beginning this material was in response to family members who, like so many people, just do not want to talk about or hear about GOD.
I decided that this is the only way I could hopefully reach their attention, to at least share a sufficient amount of the truth of GOD and the eternal magnificence that HE is offering, by addressing the two questions:
Just why was Jesus on Earth?
What is the basic reason for, and framework of, Christianity, and being a ‘Believer?’
However, what I originally intended to be a condensed picture of these two questions has grown far beyond what I had in mind, to a source of information for anyone who is curious, questioning, or searching for Truth and meaning. GOD’s hand has clearly been guiding me in this in many ways.
I have a heartfelt desire for people to know the options available to them.
Psalm 119:41-48 ‘May YOUR unfailing love come to me, LORD, YOUR salvation, according to YOUR promise; then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in YOUR WORD.
Never take YOUR WORD of Truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in YOUR laws.
I will always obey YOUR law, for ever and ever.
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out YOUR precepts.
I will speak of YOUR statutes before kings and will not be put to shame, for I delight in YOUR commands because I love them.
I reach out for YOUR commands, which I love, that I may meditate on YOUR decrees.’
