Seek the Truth with all your heart.
Meditation is a passive action. Many forms of meditation require one to continually empty one’s mind, and as random thoughts occur, good or bad, one is taught to gently discard them.
This is unwise and dangerous, because an empty mind is ready to be occupied by whatever chooses to enter it, good or bad. You cannot meditate on nothing; meditation requires an intentional subject. So don’t just empty your mind, stay in control and replace wrong or negative thoughts with intentionally positive thinking. Fill your mind with GODly thinking and meditate on Jesus and the Word of GOD, there are so many positive psalms and scriptures which glorify GOD and lift you up.
There is nothing better than meditating on GOD’s Bible scriptures and promises, our relationship with Jesus and GOD, and our amazingly magnificent future in God’s kingdom, which is beyond imagination. Deeply reflect on GOD’s magnificence, GOD’s love, GOD’s will, GOD’s plans, GOD’s amazing power, GOD’s standards, GOD’s invitation to us, GOD’s whole dimension in every respect, all of which have dimension and capacity beyond our imagination.
GOD has taken up residence within you; HE is central in you innermost being. Your mind goes off in tangents from its Holy centre, time after time. Do not be alarmed by your inability to remain focussed on HIM. Simply bring your thoughts gently back to GOD each time they wander. The quickest way to redirect your mind to GOD is to whisper HIS name, ‘YAHVEH,’ and the Name of Jesus, through Whom we reach GOD.
Jesus gave us His authority that in His Name we have the authority to go directly to GOD. We do not need to go through any human being, regardless of what any human at all might claim.
I often think about how GOD, in and through Christ, gave everything HE possibly could have to enable us, by our own choice, to have access, based on HIS conditional but easily fulfilled terms of invitation, to return to perfection, and eternal life in HIS kingdom. Together with this, I also think about how people like Paul and King David, who were guilty of the extreme of sinful behaviour, received GOD's grace, which, in David's case, included the ultimate compliment from GOD.
GOD meets you in the stillness of your mind, where HE seeks to commune with you. Such a person who is open to HIS presence is exceedingly precious to HIM. GOD’s eyes search to and fro throughout the Earth looking for each one whose heart is seeking HIM. HE sees such ones trying to find HIM, and is pleased with each person’s desire to create a quiet space where you and GOD can meet. HE monitors each person’s efforts, and is blessed by their attempts to seek HIS Face. The mutual search, results in joyful fulfilment.

Make a space amongst the constant demands pressing in on you; create a safe space around you, a haven in which you can rest with GOD. HE desires such a time of focussed attention, and uses it to bless you. Spending time with GOD is a wise investment. Sacrificing your precious time to create a sacred space around you allows GOD to permeate it with HIS Presence and Peace.
GOD’s Spirit within you is more than sufficient to handle whatever this day may bring.
Ephesians 3:16 ‘I pray that out of HIS (GOD’s) glorious riches HE may strengthen you with power through HIS Spirit in your inner being.’
Continually emptying one’s mind does not allow it to be productive, useful, positive, gainful. Your thinking becomes mindless instead of mindful. Without purposeful meditation, evil, wrong, and negative thoughts can creep in and occupy your mind.
Mark 6:31 ‘Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, He (Jesus) said to them, “Come with Me (Jesus) by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
Matthew 12:43-45 “When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house (meaning that person’s empty mind - heart - soul) I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, (empty mind) swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”
Luke 11:24 “When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.”
‘The house’ means the mind that remains empty, without renewed purpose, which has not focussed on noble GODLY things, and has let it’s guard down.
Psalm 1:1-2 ‘Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, and on this they meditate day and night.’
Psalm 19:14 ‘May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight. O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.’
Psalm 20:4 ‘May GOD give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.’
Psalm 23:2-3 ‘HE (GOD) makes me to lie down in green pastures; HE leads me beside still waters. HE restores my soul; HE leads me in the paths of righteousness for HIS Name’s sake.’
Psalm 25:4-5 ‘Show me YOUR ways O LORD, teach me YOUR paths; guide me in YOUR truth and teach me, for YOU are GOD my SAVIOUR, and my hope is in YOU all day long.’
Psalm 37:4-6 ‘Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in HIM and HE will do this: HE will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.’
Psalm 46:10 ‘Be still and know that I am GOD; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’
Psalm 85:10-11 ‘Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.’

A wonderful Psalm of GOD’s protection; re-worded in the first person tense for affirmative personal daily prayer.
Psalm 91:1-16 THANK YOU FATHER. ‘I dwell in YOUR shelter LORD GOD MOST HIGH, and rest in YOUR shadow ALMIGHTY GOD.
I will say of YOU LORD, “YOU are my refuge and my fortress, my GOD, in WHOM I trust.” Surely YOU will save me from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
YOU will cover me with YOUR feathers, and under YOUR wings I will find refuge; YOUR faithfulness will be my shield and rampart.
I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. To share meditation time you need to feel very secure with the other person. Silence builds a level of intimacy where words are no longer necessary. Learning to enter into meditative silence with GOD, builds your faith and develops a deep and comfortable relationship with HIM.
