The ‘Real Life’ GOD originally gave Adam and Eve was eternal; it did not include death. Adam and Eve’s disobedient mistake allowed Satan to introduce death into this Earthly realm.
When Adam and Eve sinned, all of mankind came under the mortal curse of their having broken GOD’s one request of them which then was the one and only instruction of what not to do, which was to not eat fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
This introduced eventual death and decay and deterioration to everything on Earth. Everything that was eternal became subject to death. Which meant life on Earth from then onwards was temporary; until the New Heavens and New Earth are populated by GOD’s true loving followers – HIS true children.
This allowed Satan to place guilt into their lives, and change their relationship with GOD. Before this, they, and their relationship with GOD, were pure. GOD loved them, and gave them freedom of choice, but they fell for Satan’s lying deceptive trick, and disobeyed GOD.
Never allow yourself to be talked out of what you know in your heart is the right thing to do.
GOD had given Adam and Eve dominion and authority over the Earth, and by their mistaken submission to Satan, he had authority to take over. This is how they unintentionally passed it on to Satan. GOD cannot, by HIS OWN heavenly law, step in and bring correction until certain time and events are completed. They passed on to Satan all of HIS creation and the dominion and authority GOD had given them.
GOD cannot contradict HIS OWN committed delegation which is now in Satan’s hands for a certain time and fulfilment of certain events. So under Satan’s dominion and authority, humanity is suffering the consequences for a period of time.
Jesus (Yeshua) was GOD’s remedy to redeem humanity from that curse. By Jesus dying for us, and thereby paying our death penalty, He opened the door for humanity to recover the right to eternal life, and dominion, and authority; after Jesus eventually resurrects GOD’s children.
GOD designed us to enjoy HIM above all else, and find the deepest fulfilment of our hearts in HIM alone. In GOD’s kingdom, dependence on HIM is a prime measure of devoted love and commitment.
Psalm 62:5-6 ‘Yes, my soul, find rest in GOD alone; my hope comes from HIM. Truly HE alone is my rock and my salvation; HE is my fortress, I will not be shaken.’
Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 ‘HE (GOD) has made everything beautiful in its time. HE has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what GOD has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil – this is the gift of GOD. I know that everything GOD does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. GOD does it so that people will fear HIM.’ (Fear = respect and awe.)
1 Corinthians 15:17 & 45-49 & 57: ‘And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.’
‘So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam (Jesus) a life-giving spirit.’ The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man (Jesus) from heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the Man (Jesus) from heaven.’
‘But thanks be to GOD. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’
The name Adam was taken from the word ‘adamah’ meaning ground or earth, because the man (Adam) was taken from the ground (adamah).
This Hebrew word reveals a spiritual truth: sin has brought physical death to all of mankind and with it, a return to the earth = adamah.
Therefore a person’s physical existence on Earth ends with the soul separating from the body. The soul is then asleep, without any consciousness at all, awaiting the resurrection to eternal life OR to eternal non-existence.
Yeshua’s (Jesus’) death, however, was not due to His own sin, because He was sinless. When He took upon Himself the sins of the world, and died, His death paid our penalty. Jesus then rose to life again, defeating death; all on our behalf.
1 John 3:5 “But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin.”
Colossians 2:9-10 ‘In Christ lives the fullness (completeness) of GOD in human form, and you have been given fullness (made complete) in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.’
We can never be complete within ourselves; of our own efforts we can never be perfect. Only through relationship with Jesus and making - choosing - Him as Lord of our lives, can GOD see us as being acceptable.
Colossians 3:11b ‘Christ is all, and is in all.’
Ephesians 4:21 ‘Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.’
2 Timothy 2:11-13 ‘Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure we will also reign with Him. If we disown Him, He will also disown us; if we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot disown Himself.’
If Jesus is merely perceived as an example, a great teacher or prophet; we will not see people experience changed lives. If we are not prepared to accept that Jesus is the Son of GOD who died on our behalf as a sacrifice for sin, and then defeated death on our behalf, the crucifixion simply becomes a brutal act of violence, which in itself it is, without GOD’s purpose. Many Muslims see it this way, as well as being blasphemous and abhorrent about it.
In light of this, if one has fundamental Christian knowledge alone, one can realize that Allah cannot be GOD the Father - the GOD of love.
Philippians 4:8 ‘Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.’
