Prosperous and very wealthy men in the Bible were: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Solomon - all children of Israel. Solomon was the wealthiest person ever in history.
The words - increase, treasure, prosperity, substance, wealth, and riches, refer not only to money but also to different aspects of life and well-being. Whole of life = wholistic.
Proverbs 3:9-10 ‘Honour the LORD with your substance, and with the first-fruits of all your increase. So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.’
Proverbs 8:17-18 & 21 ‘I love them that love Me; and those that seek me early shall find Me. Riches and honour are with Me; yes, durable riches and righteousness --- That I may cause those that love Me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.’
Proverbs 13:22 ‘A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.’
Proverbs 15:6 ‘In the house of the righteous is much treasure.’
Proverbs 22:7 ‘The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.’
Psalm 35:27 ‘Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour My righteous cause; yes, let them say continually, let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.’
Psalm 118:25 ‘O LORD, save us; O LORD, grant us success, O LORD,
I beseech You, send now prosperity.’
Job 36:11 ‘If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.’
Joel 2:25 ‘I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.’
