Ambassadors for the Kingdom of GOD
Through Jesus Christ the Messiah (Hebrew - Yeshua HaMashiach.)
Seek the Truth with all your heart.
Jesus came to redeem humanity to GOD our FATHER and Creator. Jesus paid for our inherited penalty and gave Himself as the doorway to personal relationship with GOD, followed by the resurrection and entry into eternal life in the Creator’s Kingdom.
This is an invitation; we have freedom of choice, a GOD of Love does not force anything. To have it, we need to choose and accept it on GOD’s conditions.
Jesus also came to bring us the Kingdom of GOD, and we, by our own freedom of choice and GOD’s adoption of us, become Ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD.
Henceforth we see ourselves as part of that kingdom, we represent that Kingdom, we act for that Kingdom; it becomes the reason for, and purpose of, who we are, what we represent, and what we stand for, who and what we see ourselves as, and who people see us as, all in terms of behaviour, values, principles, purpose, and truth.
Luke 14:26-27 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate their father and mother, their wife or husband, their brothers and sisters; yes and even their own life; they cannot be my disciple. And anyone who does not carry their cross and follow Me cannot be my disciple.’
Without understanding, ‘hate’ sounds severe; but in this sense and culture of the time, to hate means to put second. It is a matter of relativity and priority.
2 Corinthians 5:14-21 ‘For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One (Jesus) died for all, and therefore all died (to our former way of life.) And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him Who died for them and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here. All this is from GOD WHO reconciled us to HIMSELF through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that GOD was reconciling the world to HIMSELF in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And HE has committed to us the message or reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though GOD were making HIS appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to GOD. GOD made Him Who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in HIM we might become the righteousness of GOD.’
