Jesus is GOD,​​ & Creator

Bethlehem is the birthplace of King David and​​ Jesus,​​ Yeshua​​ HaMashiach is​​ Jesus the​​ Messiah​​ in Hebrew. ​​ Yeshua​​ is Jesus​​ real name​​ in​​ Hebrew which means ‘Salvation’. ​​ GOD​​ as Jesus,​​ was and is: The Messiah, our Redeemer,​​ our Saviour.

In normal human terms of understanding we cannot fully reconcile and comprehend that Jesus was and is GOD; that is another reason why we need​​ BELIEF and​​ FAITH.

The realization, which is not easy at first, that Jesus was and is GOD, creates a beautifully clear picture of the magnificent, uncomplicated, and delightful reality, of the truth of GOD, and HIS way of doing things.​​ 

Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible GOD. ​​ He existed before anything was created, and is supreme over all the creation which now exists. ​​ Through Him GOD​​ created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. ​​ He made the things we can see and the things we cannot see, such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers and authorities in the unseen world. ​​ Everything was created through and by Him and for Him. ​​ He existed before everything else, and He holds all creation together. ​​ Christ is also the head of the church, which is His body of people who love Him and GOD. ​​ GOD​​ reconciled everything to Himself through Jesus. ​​ GOD​​ in all His fullness, lived in Christ.

Jesus was GOD​​ in human form, so He possessed a combination of humanity and divinity. ​​ He therefore possessed the power to overcome and to resist every sinful temptation. ​​ Jesus gives that power to every human being who, by faith, identifies with and adopts His righteous character.

Christ became ‘one flesh’ with us, in order that we might become ‘one spirit’ with Him.

Psalm 8:1-9 ​​​​ This psalm of 9 verses speaks of​​ the majesty of the LORD --- GOD, and the Lord --- Jesus, and the magnificence of ​​ ‘Their’ creation.​​ 

Psalm 118:22 ​​​​ The stone​​ (Jesus -- to come)​​ which the builders rejected (refused), has become the capstone (the headstone – cornerstone – foundation stone.)

Luke 10:16 ​​​​ He who listens to you listens to Me; he who rejects you rejects Me;​​ but he who rejects Me rejects Him (My Father) who sent Me.

John 1:1-5 ​​​​ ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, ​​ and the Word was GOD. He was with GOD in the beginning.​​ ​​ ​​ (‘The Word’ was Jesus.)

Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. ​​ In Him was life, and that life was the light of mankind. ​​ The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.’

John 10:30 ​​​​ “I and my Father are one.” ​​​​ Jesus is the very essence​​ and entity​​ of GOD.

John​​ 12:50 ​​​​ “I know that His command leads to eternal life. So Whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”

John 14:6-7 ​​​​ Jesus answered, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the FATHER​​ except through Me.​​ 

If you really knew Me, you would know My FATHER​​ as well. ​​ From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.” ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​

John 14:9b-11 ​​​​ Anyone who​​ has seen Me has seen the FATHER. ​​ How​​ can you say, ‘Show us the FATHER?’ ​​ Don’t you​​ believe that I am in the FATHER and that the FATHER​​ is in Me? ​​ The words I say to you are not just My own.​​ ​​ Rather, it is the​​ FATHER, living in​​ Me, who is doing His work.​​ Believe me when I say that​​ I am in the FATHER and the FATHER​​ is in Me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles them-selves.”

John 18:36 ​​​​ Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.”

1 Timothy 3:16 ​​​​ Beyond all question, ​​​​ the mystery of godliness is great:​​ GOD​​ appeared in a body (as Jesus), was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

I AM"​​ ("ego eimi")​​ refers exclusively to Yahweh​​ in the Old Testament and emphasizes​​ that​​ there is only one​​ eternal GOD​​ and no lesser gods.​​ "Ego eimi"​​ is used by Jesus to refer to Himself. The Jews understood very clearly​​ that​​ Jesus was referring to Himself as​​ GOD​​ (Yahweh);​​ that is why they attempted to stone Him after His "ego eimi" statement.

The LORD alone receives worship (1st​​ and 2nd​​ commandments). However, Jesus received worship. In order to not violate the commandments, Jesus must be the LORD (GOD) in order to receive worship.

John 15:5-6 ​​​​ “I am the true vine; you are the branches. ​​ If a person​​ remains in Me and I in them, they will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. ​​ If anyone does not remain in Me, they are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Philippians 2:5-11 ​​​​ ‘In your relationship with one another have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: ​​ Who, being in very nature GOD, did not consider equality with GOD something to be used to His own advantage, rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.​​ 

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death; even on a cross.  ​​ ​​​​

John 5:19 ​​​​ So​​ Jesus (Yeshua)​​ explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself.​​ He​​ does only what He sees the FATHER doing.  Whatever the FATHER​​ does, the Son​​ also does.”   

John 6:38 ​​​​ “For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of HIM​​ WHO​​ sent Me.”​​ 

1 Corinthians 3:23 ​​​​ ---​​ You are​​ of Christ, and Christ is of GOD.​​ This is Jesus speaking to the people of GOD,​​ and it highlights​​ the changed status of​​ true lovers of GOD.​​ 

Jesus said, shortly before he was arrested, falsely tried, and crucified; ​​  ​​​​ 

John 17:5 ​​​​ “And now, FATHER, glorify Me in your presence with the glory I had with​​ YOU​​ before the world began.”  

Jesus is the only ‘religious leader’​​ who offers relationship with GOD. ​​ All others merely have rules, rituals, traditions,​​ and philosophies to follow.​​ Jesus has opened the door for us – other religions require penance and works.

Philippians 4:8 ​​​​ ‘Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, ​​ whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.’
